Celebrate LA Opera's 40th birthday in style!

On Friday, October 17, 2026, LA Opera will celebrate the opening of its 41st season with a very special gala celebration. Following the opening night performance of Carmen, an elegant, black-tie party will be held on The Music Center's Jerry Moss Plaza. The night will include fine dining and dancing under the stars in the company of fellow opera lovers and members of the production's cast and artistic team. Join your fellow opera lovers and the renowned artists who thrill us in the theater to celebrate this milestone occasion. It promises to be a truly memorable and tremendously enjoyable evening.
