Performances  & events for all ages

Experience opera in a new way.

Live broadcasts under the stars, family-friendly events, interactive opera for children and babies, and informative lectures to give you a deeper understanding of the music, plot, and history of the art form.

Free Opera Simulcasts: Live from the LA Opera stage to a screen near you.

Thanks entirely to the generous support of LA County Supervisors, LA Opera livestreams a high-definition broadcast of world-class performances right from our stage at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion to two locations around Los Angeles County. Click through to  learn how you can join us at the Santa Monica Pier or Altadena's Loma Alta Park for a live simulcast performance of West Side Story on Saturday, September 27, 2025.
